I am Dr. Brian Eddy and I am pleased to offer my psychiatric services for patients in my West Hartford office.
About Dr. Eddy
I specialize in treating patients over the age of twelve for a variety of psychiatric issues including, but not limited to: depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, phobias, impulse control disorders, eating disorders, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, substance related disorders, cognitive disorders and both child and adult ADHD.
How is my practice different?
I have a special interest and additional training in treatment of ADHD as well as severe anxiety disorders. Additionally, when appropriate, I coordinate and encourage complementary and alternative approaches and treatments for patients. Although I do incorporate supportive and individual psychotherapy into my sessions, I understand the importance of working closely with my patient's therapists to coordinate care.
